The Hyde Company is a Georgia corporation founded in
1975. In September of 1994, The Hyde Company released the first version of
Spatch Paging Software. Spatch is messaging software that allows full text
messages to be sent to pagers and phones from computer users, applications,
intranets, e-mail, and more. Spatch paging software operates under UNIX &
NT.
In 1997, The Hyde Company (at the request of a digital cellular provider) began
development of a Short Message Service Center (SMSC). The provider requested a
solution that could handle TAP input through modems and other types of input
from web pages, e-mail, and more. By April of 1998, The Hyde Company had
successfully implemented the solution. Now this solution is available to
Cellular and PCS providers throughout the world.
In 2001, our customers asked us to create a voice mail solution for small carriers
that could handle both wireless and landline voice mail. By the end of that year,
we introduced Spatch Voice Mail, a full-featured yet affordable voice mail solution.
The Hyde Company now has many SMSC and Voice Mail solutions installed worldwide.
The Hyde
Company will continue to offer reliable, cost-effective, leading-edge
solutions for many years to come.
